Sway Me Smooth, Sway Me Now

Today's song is "Sway" by Dean Martin. I think this may be my first Dean Martin song on this blog. What a shame that it took me till my fourth year to get to a Dean Martin song. Nevertheless, the time has come. This is a great song that I first heard on a various artists CD I bought at Pottery Barn. (Don't you judge me!) This song always stood out as a favorite on that album. Then, this past year, I bought a Dean Martin Greatest Hits CD and this song was on it. I listened to it over and over. This is an amazing song...it's quite possibly the GREATEST SONG EVER!

Do I even have to explain why Beck's "Where It's At?" is on this page? I'm just surprised that I didn't add it sooner. I'm not Beck's biggest fan but this song is awesome...it's possibly the GREATEST SONG EVER!

Today's song is "Once In A Lifetime" by the Talking Heads. I remember watching this video on Mtv when I was a child. I always enjoyed the Talking Heads videos. It wasn't until I was in college I realized how cool they really were. I didn't listen to music like this growing up. My music was Def Leppard, Winger, Poison, Bon Jovi, Skid Row...you know, hair bands. But now, I listen to just about anything. If it's good music, it's good music. It doesn't matter what the genre. And let me tell you, the Talking Heads is good music especially this track. It's possibly the GREATEST SONG EVER.
